Professional Fees for Licensing/Memberships/Professional Designations: Your Union Reps Successfully Push College to Pay, INCLUDING LAST YEAR, 2014

Last year, your Union reps brought a grievance in respect of the College refusal to reimburse us for the costs of our Professional Designations/Licenses/Memberships when they are required for us to teach.

Your Union withdrew this grievance when the College agreed to adopt a policy to reimburse those faculty who require some sort of accreditation in order to teach in a particular program.

Importantly, the College has agreed to honour this policy for fees incurred in 2014 and going forward for faculty who qualify. If you require accreditation to teach in your program, be sure to submit for re-imbursement for last year, 2014, as well as present and future costs.
