Progression on the Salary Scale : Completion of Credential

Upon completion of a credential, the college has agreed to grant an immediate step(s) increase on the salary grid with the proper notification and proof of degree or credential completion.

Prior to enrolling in a degree program you are encouraged to get the support of your Dean.

Article 14 in the collective agreement sets out the salary schedules. The Job Classification Plan for Academic Bargaining Unit Members (p.135) describes how a current academic member can access additional steps on the salary grid. Together with Article 14.03A4 and 14.03A5 , a letter of understanding(p.113) sets out the In Service Teacher Training Program which also provides an opportunity to progress to the top step of the salary grid.
