Please join us Thursday, March 2nd at 1 p.m. for our next general membership meeting (GMM). The meeting will once again be hosted on Zoom as we discuss the budget, new bylaws dealing with our contingency fund, and the delegate selection for this year’s provincial OPSEU convention. We’ll also provide brief updates on our new collective agreement and the ongoing challenges to Bill 124 and its potential impact on our pay.
If you have specific questions related to the budget or the new contingency fund, we ask that you provide them in writing to our office in advance of the meeting so that we can prepare the most accurate and detailed response possible. We’d also ask that anyone interested in attending the OPSEU convention please let us know in advance.
To drum up interest for the meeting, we will also be giving away three $100 gift cards courtesy of NEB’s Fun World in Oshawa!
