OPSEU members, it’s your time to shine. For five years, you’ve seen notices for OPSEU’s Got Talent – delegates’ favourite extracurricular event at Convention. But you sat on your hands as others took the limelight – and took thousands in cash to the bank.
Don’t let another opportunity slip by to show off your talent – whatever it is! You know you’re talented. You know you’ve got a shot at winning. And it’s so easy to start the ball rolling! Simply email a video of your talent to OpseusGotTalent@opseu.org.
Each region will hold its own talent competition, with prizes of $1,000, $500 and $250 for first-, second- and third-place winners, respectively.
First-place winners go on to Convention 2020 in Toronto, where they’ll compete before delegates for the grand prize of $3,000. But wait, there’s more! A People’s Choice Award is also up for grabs for $1,000. That’s a total potential windfall of $5,000.
