Local 354 is inviting you to a virtual general membership meeting (GMM) on Monday, May 16th, between 6:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m.
The meeting agenda will include:
– local elections for all stewards and officers
– update on arbitration
– local finances
– and discussion of ongoing issues such as workload, partial load rights and the college’s COVID response
A full agenda will be sent to all who register closer to the event.
Please make time to attend to discuss these important issues, and if you are interested in becoming more involved with your union as a school steward or executive officer, please visit this link and scroll to the bottom to find nomination forms for each. Nominations should ideally be submitted to the local ahead of time in order to keep the meeting running smoothly.
To register for the meeting, please RSVP from your personal email to office@opseu354.ca. Once your union membership has been confirmed, a Zoom link and agenda will be sent out before the meeting.
As a reminder, only members in good standing can attend the GMM, vote or run in our local elections.
