Wellbeing survey is now available for members

The union would like to know how you are doing.  Last week we launched a survey called StressAssess.  Some members have notified the local that the email went to their Spam Folder.  We are sending this email again, to ensure everyone has the opportunity to provide their valuable insight which will help us determine how stressors like workload, communication and working relationships are impacting our workplace.

This is a Local 354 initiative, so we are utilizing personal email addresses to contact members. We ask that you complete this survey on your personal time at home using your own personal device (e.g. computer or cell phone). If you can not find the survey email or did not receive it, please contact the union office at local354info@gmail.com.

Checklist:

❏ Allow for approximately 15 – 40 minutes to complete the survey.

❏ The survey will be open for about two weeks.

❏ Our best recommendation is to complete it in one sitting as opposed to trying to save it as the data may be lost.

❏ All responses are completely confidential and are being collected independently by the Occupational Health Clinics for Ontario Workers (OHCOW). https://www.ohcow.on.ca/

❏ All questions are voluntary, and you can choose to skip any that you may not be comfortable answering.

❏ All comments will be aggregated into themes to avoid identifying any individual person (this will be done by the Statistician at OHCOW).

❏ You will have to answer yes to the initial question of consent in order to complete the survey.

An invitation to collaborate on the implementation of this survey was declined by both Durham College management and Local 353 at this time. However, Local 354 is committed to sharing the findings and recommendations resulting from our membership consultation with all stakeholders.

In solidarity,
